Toledo man, 21, dies from injuries suffered in shooting after fight escalates into gunfire

A Toledo man who was allegedly involved in an exchange of gunfire in a central Toledo neighborhood on Saturday, two days before his 22nd birthday, died Sunday at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center.

One of the victims was found in front of 123 West Park, and the other alleged gunman was found in the alley shortly after 3 p.m.

Police said James Bragg, 21, whose address was not available, was pronounced dead at St. Vincent. The other gunman was taken by ambulance to a hospital. Police said the pair had fought. An autopsy by the Lucas County Coroner’s Office was scheduled for Monday.
