3 sought after Northwood man shot in East Toledo

A Northwood man remained hospitalized Tuesday in serious condition after being shot twice in the chest Monday night.

Joshua Hainer, whose age was not available, was being treated for his wounds at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center.

Police said the victim was shot in the 800 block of Rogers Street in East Toledo at 9:12 p.m.

Police said the victim was approached by three men trying to sell the victim earrings outside the Rainbow Market. When the victim said he didn’t want the jewelry, one of the three suspects brandished a gun and fired multiple times, according to police reports.

The suspects fled on foot. One suspect was described as having facial tattoos.
