BOWLING GREEN — Authorities are investigating a two-vehicle crash that injured a Huber Heights, Ohio, man on I-75 near Bowling Green early Tuesday, closing southbound lanes for about two hours.

Arthur Watson, 59, was hurt when a pickup he was driving and a tractor-trailer rig collided in Wood County's Center Township, the Ohio Highway Patrol said. He was flown to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition late Tuesday.

Mr. Watson was driving south on the highway about mile north of State Rt. 64 around 5 a.m. when his pickup was struck in the rear by a semi driven by Brent Waddell, 41, of Macomb, Mich., according to the patrol's Bowling Green post.

Mr. Waddell was not injured; both drivers were wearing seat belts, troopers said.

No charges were filed.
