Southbound I-75 reopens after crash

Sections of I-75 closed because of a vehicle crash and fuel spill were reopened shortly before 8 p.m. today, authorities said.

The incident was first reported as a crash about 4:40 p.m. on southbound I-75. Toledo police and fire crews closed sections of the interstate between the Phillips Avenue and Willys Parkway exits.

A hazardous materials crew was dispatched to the scene to clean up gasoline that leaked onto the roadway. Details of the crash were not available.
