Injury crash closes Central Avenue in Sylvania Township

A single-car injury crash closed West Central Avenue in both directions in Sylvania Township today, authorities said.

The victim was taken to Flower Hospital with unknown injuries, according to the Lucas County EMS. The name and condition were not released.

The crash occurred about 1:05 p.m. at the intersection of West Central and Herr Road, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.

West Central remained closed as of about 2:15 p.m,, according to township police.

The incident remained under investigation
