ATTICA, Ohio -- Authorities are investigating as suspicious the death of a Tiffin man whose body was found today in a car parked at a residence.

Attica police and emergency medical service were called to High Street about 10:45 a.m. to check on an unconscious man in a car, police Chief Keith Turner said. The man, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. The man was last seen on Wednesday, and the car was in a friend's driveway.

The chief noticed that the man had a black eye and his shirt was ripped and called for help from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Seneca County prosecutor's office. An autopsy will be performed by the Lucas County coroner's office, Chief Turner said.
