Two men, one wearing a Spider-Man mask, robbed a West Toledo convenience store Thursday night, police said.

Two men went into the Sylvania Food Mart, 1444 W. Sylvania Ave., at 9:48 p.m. and demanded cash from the lone clerk.

The man in the Spider-Man mask pointed a gun at the employee and, again, demanded cash.

The second suspect threatened to kill the clerk and told her to give him cigarillos (Spider-Man said not to worry about the miniature cigars).

The clerk put an undetermined amount of cash into a white plastic grocery bag with “Thank you” written on the side.

The suspects fled out of the store and ran westbound on Sylvania.

Both suspects are described as 16 to 23 years old, approximately 5 feet, 6 inches tall. Descriptions of race, weight, eye, and hair color were not available because the suspects were fully covered, the clerk told police.

The suspect with the Spider-Man mask was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt; he had a silver handgun. The mask was black with red “webbing.”

The second suspect was last seen wearing a New Orleans Saints sweatshirt and pants with a wide stripe and a second narrow stripe.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111.
