Authorities Thursday continued to review camera footage from a parking lot at McGregor Elementary School where a Drano bomb was disabled the day before.

No one was injured, and school was dismissed on time, Toledo police said.

School personnel found the device about 1:45 p.m. in the school’s rear parking lot, a Toledo police report indicated. The lot was blocked off and students were dismissed from the school’s front entrance.

The Northwest Ohio Bomb Squad disabled the device.

Officials did not comment. In a letter to parents, Superintendent Patrick Hickey said, “While situations like this are unpleasant they do give us an opportunity to see our policies, procedures, and drills put into action. The staff at McGregor and school district staff took care of kids and families first and foremost and ensured that student safety was their overriding responsibility.”
