Walbridge plans Halloween event

Continuing with its centennial celebration, Walbridge will sponsor Halloween festivities at township Fire Station No. 1, 27975 Cummings Rd., from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 31 or whenever trick-or-treating concludes.

Cider and donuts will be served, and there will be a costume contest at 8 p.m. Candy will be safety-checked.
