Police issue warrant 
in death of woman

Toledo police issued an arrest warrant Tuesday charging Marquis A. Walker, 29, with murder in the shooting death Sunday of Jordan Jones.

Police ask anyone with information about him to call the Crime Stopper program at 419-255-1111 or send Toledo police a private message on Facebook. He is described by police as 5 feet, 8 inches tall; weighing 160 pounds, and black with black hair and brown eyes.

Police said the man entered Ms. Jones’ West Alexis Road apartment by force Sunday night. Ms. Jones, 23, was pronounced dead shortly after police arrived about 10:40 p.m.

Lucas County Coroner Dr. James Patrick ruled Tuesday that Ms. Jones died from multiple gunshot wounds to the torso.
