BOWLING GREEN — Authorities are investigating the death of a Fort Loramie, Ohio, man who was found unresponsive over the weekend inside a house in the 300 block of North Enterprise Street in Bowling Green.

The cause of death of Zachary Eilerman, 22, remains under investigation, according to the Wood County Coroner’s Office. Autopsy results had not been released, a coroner’s office spokesman said.

Maj. Tony Hetrick, Bowling Green deputy police chief, said people who live at the residence told police they weren’t home late Saturday into early Sunday, but when they returned about 2:15 a.m., they found Mr. Eilerman unresponsive on a couch and called 911.

Police and emergency personnel who arrived at the scene a short time later found Mr. Eilerman not breathing, and CPR was attempted but was unsuccessful, the deputy police chief said.

People at the house told police Mr. Eilerman was a visiting friend. They reportedly saw him drinking at the house about 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Major Hetrick said.

Mr. Eilerman’s last known address was in Fort Loramie, according to police.
