Toledo police are hoping someone may help them identify a possible witness to a homicide last month in West Toledo.

A security camera picture posted on the police Web site shows a man who police said was at the Stef’s Comboz, 2051 Dorr St., about the time of the shooting, which occurred Sept. 25 in the alley near 1219 Woodstock Ave., just around the corner. The man in the picture is wearing a white T-shirt with “RIP” printed in the front and someone’s photo underneath.

Shaun Garrod Flowers, 22, whose address was not released, was shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim was found in the alley in the 1200 block of Woodstock Avenue, near Calvary Cemetery and Scott Park, about 10:10 p.m. Police did not say whether the shooting was gang-related or whether retaliation was the motive.

The homicide scene is near the “front yard” territory controlled by the gang known as the Southside Folk.
