Sometimes even robbers have manners.
Just before 1:30 a.m. Thursday, a pharmacist walking toward the front of a Walgreens store at 4580 Monroe St. in West Toledo encountered a man who appeared to be shopping, but turned around when she got close to reveal he was wearing an unspecified mask and pointed a gun at her, according to a police report.
The man demanded she open the drug store’s cash registers, but she explained that as a pharmacist, she had no access.
“OK. Have a nice day,” the masked gunman said before fleeing. He has not been identified, but was described as black, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, and 250 pounds. He wore a dark gray or black-hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans with holes in the knees, and work boots.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111.
