Traffic on southbound I-75 in Rossford was at a standstill for more than 30 minutes overnight because of a crash that injured two people at about 11:45 p.m. Thursday, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.

Isaiah Lee Slaughter, 21, of Toledo, sustained serious, non-life threatening injuries, according to the patrol, which said Rossford EMS took him to Toledo Hospital.

Lisa M. Herzog, 47, of Perrysburg sustained minor injuries, and she was transported by Northwood EMS to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, according to the patrol.

The crash occurred, according to the patrol, when Mr. Slaughter was driving a car north on I-75, between Buck and Wales roads, and Ms. Herzog was driving a car south on I-75. The car driven by Mr. Slaughter lost control, went through the median into the southbound lanes, and was struck head-on by Ms. Herzog's car, the patrol said. Her car continued off the west side of the road and struck a guardrail.

Both drivers wore seat belts.
