Authorities search for woman in connection with Van Wert shooting
11/14/2013VAN WERT, Ohio -- State troopers have joined police and sheriff's deputies in a search Thursday night for a woman in connection with a shooting, authorities said.
The shooting was reported about 6:30 p.m. in Van Wert. Identities and conditions were not reported.
The woman, 47, was described as 5-feet, 6-inches tall, 140 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. Authorities believes she drove a 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier and was armed with a .22 caliber rifle.
Van Wert is about 95 miles southwest of Toledo.
