The infant's sister, Presley Massingill, was pronounced dead at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. Their mother, Lori Massingill, 38, of Ida, Mich., who was driving the car, was injured and recently transferred from St. Vincent to a hospital in Michigan, troopers at the post in Bowling Green said.

Troopers said the investigation into the accident is continuing, including the speed of Ms. Massingill's car when she went over the railroad tracks on Fostoria Road, south of State Rt. 163. They are looking into the child safety seats that held the infants and whether the equipment was securely held to the back seats with restraints.
