Woman found dead in Northwood motel

A woman was found dead in a room at a motel near I-75 in Northwood about 12:45 p.m. Tuesday. The death is not suspicious, police said.

Northwood police said officers went to the Americas Best Value Inn on Oregon Road at Wales Road in response to the call about an unconscious person. Police and Wood County Coroner Douglas Hess would not provide the name of the person.
