Woman injured in South Toledo house fire
12/20/2013An 84-year-old woman sustained minor burns Friday in a South Toledo house fire, authorities said.
The fire was reported at 4141 Hill Ave. just after 9 p.m. All occupants escaped, and Toledo firefighters arrived to find the front of the house ablaze.
The injured woman, whose name was not available, was taken by Life Squad to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center.
The one-story house has been owned since 2011 by Louisville Title Agency for Northwest Ohio Inc. Trustee, according to Lucas County auditor records.
The house sustained about $44,000 in damage, according to Battalion Chief John Kaminski.
The investigation is ongoing and, Kaminski said, there were no smoke alarms in the house.
