I-75 reopens after crash caused closing near Luna Pier

LUNA PIER, Mich -- Northbound I-75 near this Monroe County community has reopened to traffic after being closed for three hours for a crash involving multiple tractor-trailer rigs earlier today, authorities said.

There were no reports of injuries, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.

The crash occurred about 10:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the interstate at the Luna Pier exit, a dispatcher at the office said. Traffic on the road returned to normal about 1:45 p.m., she said.

The crash remains under investigation.

Luna Pier is seven miles north of Toledo.
