Four family members found in a South Toledo home raided by the Metro Drug Task Force last month were indicted Friday by a Lucas County grand jury.

Dustin Kaczala, 31, of 1151 Eastgate Rd. was charged with possession of heroin, trafficking in heroin, and having weapons while under disability. Jacob Kaczala, 26, was charged with trafficking in marijuana, while Mackenzie Kaczala, 27, and Randy Kaczala, 60, each were indicted for permitting drug abuse.

According to prosecutors, police seized heroin, marijuana, about $19,000 in cash, and nearly 40 rifles, shotguns, and handguns when they executed a search warrant at the Eastgate Road address Nov. 7. Randy Kaczala is the father of the other three co-defendants, according to Sgt. Joe Heffernan, spokesman for Toledo police.
