The Defiance Highway Patrol Post said two cars collided at about 12:45 p.m. at County Roads 4 and F 50, about three miles east of the Indiana line, and southeast of Edon.

Timothy Hartsock, 42, of Edon, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the front-seat passenger in a car driven by Douglas Michael, 61, of Edon, who was northbound on County Road 4. Their car collided with a car driven by Casey Kline, 33, of Edon, who was traveling west on County Road F 50.
