Man in custody after police negotiator called to East Toledo

Police are portioned outside of a house work a standoff on 3rd Street in East Toledo.

A suspect was taken into custody today, about an hour after a police negotiator was called to an East Toledo home.

The name of the young man has not yet been released.

Police responded to the scene in the 400 block of 3rd Street about 10:30 a.m. after police received a call of a man shooting from a window.

A negotiator was sent to the scene about 20 minutes later.
