A Toledo man was arrested Friday after allegedly firing a gun at a car from inside his East Toledo home.

Robert Roman, 19, of 452 Third St. is charged with firearm discharge restricted and inducing panic. He was held later Friday in the Lucas County jail pending arraignment Monday in Toledo Municipal Court.

Police responded to 452 Third St. about 10:30 a.m. after a woman called to say her son had shot at a car behind the house, police Sgt. Joe Heffernan said.

Mr. Roman exited the house from a back door and surrendered to police without incident. Police disclosed no motive for the shooting, but reported finding a single bullet hole in the car.
