Police investigating South Toledo shooting

One person was shot in South Toledo overnight, police said.

Archie Love, 30, was shot at least once in the abdomen at his home, 1924 Airline Dr.

The victim told police that, just before 2:38 a.m., he heard a knock at his back door and, when he went to answer, was shot.

The victim was taken to the University of Toledo Medical Center, the former Medical College of Ohio, for treatment.
