S. Toledo man gets shot repeatedly, drives to hospital

A South Toledo man drove himself to a hospital today after being shot multiple times, police said.

Jeron Sutton, whose age was not available, drove himself to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center after being shot, reportedly somewhere on Vance Street. He arrived at the hospital at 11:30 a.m.

Police said Mr. Sutton's injuries did not appear to be life threatening, but a hospital spokesman could not be reached for an update on his condition.

The victim told police he was sitting in his sport-utility vehicle when he was shot. A handgun was found in the trunk of the victim's car, police said.
