Trail traffic resumes after 2 injured in 2-car crash near Collingwood Boulevard in Toledo

A two-car crash today injured two people, tying up traffic in the outbound lanes of the Anthony Wayne Trail in central Toledo for about two hours, authorities said.

The victims were taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center with unknown injuries, according to the Lucas County EMS,

The crash occurred about 9:45 a.m. near Collingwood Boulevard, Toledo police said.

Traffic in the outbound lanes of the trail was backed up as far as I-75, returning to normal by noon, according to police.
