Police: Shots fired amid arguments

Two men accused of shooting at people with whom they were arguing, in separate incidents, were arraigned Friday in Toledo Municipal Court.

Larry Heard, Jr., 41, of 2041 Christie St. is charged with felonious assault; he was ordered to remain in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $75,000 bond. The suspect posted bond Friday morning, according to court records.

Police allege Mr. Heard shot at Earl Fitzgerald at Cherry and Rockingham streets just after 7 p.m. Thursday after Mr. Heard was punched in the throat. Although Mr. Heard allegedly shot several times at Mr. Fitzgerald, no injuries were reported.

Stefon Gibson, 21, is also charged with felonious assault and was ordered to remain in the county jail in lieu of $75,000 bond.

Police allege that Mr. Gibson, of 527 Collins St. fired at least one shot at his roommate’s boyfriend during a fight Nov. 29 at 3901 Airport Hwy. The bullet did not strike anyone, but the victim was hit on the head with the gun, police said.
