Third time was the charm for police.

After T.I.G. Auto Repair, 2415 N. Summit St., was broken into three times, police arrested the man who they believe is responsible.

Charged with three counts of breaking and entering is Larry Compton, 44, of 2803 117th St. He was arraigned today in Toledo Municipal Court and ordered to remain in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $15,000 bond.

According to court documents, the auto repair shop, near Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, was broken into on Jan. 10, Feb. 3, and again Monday.

According to court documents, tools were taken in each break-in; the total loss was reported to be more than $10,000.

Police said all of the break-ins were caught on video.

Mr. Compton is to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on Feb. 19.
