Sylvania Twp. to donate lockers

Spencer Twp. firefighters on receiving end of gift

The Sylvania Township Fire Department will donate a set of lockers to the neighboring Spencer Township Fire Department.

Fire Chief Jeff Kowalski told the township trustees at a recent meeting that the Spencer Township Fire Department is growing and could use the 16 lockers.

The trustees approved the donation, worth about $2,500. The lockers, at least 10 years old, are not of use to the township fire department, as one station was remodeled and three others were newly constructed.
