Police are looking for a man who caused a flurry of panic on Thursday after robbing a West Toledo Dairy Queen.
An employee of the ice cream shop, at 5300 Monroe St., told police that a man came in at 4:35 p.m. and slid a blue piece of paper across the counter.
The note read: "Do not make a sound. Give me the money out of the register," according to an incident report.
"Are you going to make me do this," the employee asked.
"Give me the money. I do not want to hurt you. You have four seconds to give me the money or I will," the suspect reportedly said, according to a police report.
The employee took the cash drawer out of the register allowing the suspect to take the money. The suspect then fled out the door with the cash and note.
The suspect is described as white, 6 feet tall, 160 pounds, and was last seen wearing a green-gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black sunglasses with blue lenses.
Police ask that anyone with information about the suspect call Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111.
