The Bedford Inn, 6444 S. Telegraph Rd., was robbed at 11:30 p.m., according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies report that a man went into the hotel lobby and demanded cash from the clerk. The clerk complied and gave the suspect, who was wearing a mask and a yellow hooded sweatshirt, an undisclosed amount of cash.

No weapon was seen, although the suspect reportedly implied he had one, officials said. Officials said the suspect had a “dark-colored prying device.” The suspect fled toward Toledo, officials said.
