A 47-year-old Toledo woman died Friday as a result of injuries she suffered during a five-vehicle crash last month, police said.

Judith Crawford died at Toledo Hospital; her exact injuries were not immediately known.

Police also said today that alcohol use by the apparent at-fault driver, Brian Rosenburg, and his speed are contributing factors in the crash.

The case is to be presented to a Lucas County grand jury for possible indictment.

Ms. Crawford was one of five people involved in a crash at Byrne Road and Dorr Street on Feb. 14.

Police said Mr. Rosenburg, 22, of Rome, Ohio, was driving a sport-utility vehicle northbound on Byrne and hit the back of Ms. Crawford's car which was stopped at a red light. The impact forced Ms. Crawford's vehicle into the back of a sport-utility vehicle driven by Harriet Grier, 64, of Toledo, who had also been stopped at the red light.

The car-versus-sport-utility-vehicle impact pushed Ms. Grier's vehicle across the intersection into another car driven by Stephen Feczer, 20, of Maumee, who had been westbound on Dorr.

Mr. Rosenburg's vehicle then struck a pickup truck driven by Paul Malak, 53, of Toledo, which was stopped at the same red light as Ms. Crawford and Ms. Grier.
