Subway restaurant in West Toledo robbed, police seeking suspect
3/13/2014Police are looking for a short, white man in his 20s who robbed a Subway restaurant in West Toledo at 1:30 p.m. today.
A report on file with the Toledo Police Department said the man was about 5 feet, 5 inches tall and 140 pounds, and did not brandish a weapon but demanded cash upon walking up to a counter of the Subway at 4608 Talmadge Rd., near Monroe Street.
The man, who was wearing a black ski mask, had a hand in his pocket, as if he had a weapon. An employee who gave him an undisclosed amount of cash was not injured, the report said.
