B.G. fire division earns accredited status

BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green fire division has been accredited by an agency that promotes continuous improvement of fire and emergency services.

The award by the Commission on Fire Accreditation International, of Chantilly, Va., places Bowling Green’s department among nine other fire and rescue departments in Ohio with that status, including Toledo and Columbus, according to Karl Ristow, commission program director. The status is valid for five years.
