$50,000 bond set for man accused in bar attack

A man accused of an unprovoked attack on a bar janitor was arraigned today in Toledo Municipal Court.

Larenzo Leake, 33, of 4016 Asbury Dr., is charged with felonious assault; he was ordered to remain in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.

Police allege that Leake was at Mylers Rock Garden Bar, 5710 Telegraph Rd., on March 11 when he punched Jeremy Champion.

Mr. Champion's jaw was broken in two places as a result of the assault, police said.
