Police are looking for suspects in two Toledo holdups.

A man went into Vito’s Pizza, 4317 Heatherdowns Blvd., at 12:04 a.m. Wednesday and motioned for an employee to approach the counter. As she did, the suspect pointed a silver handgun at her; the woman handed the man an undisclosed amount of cash, and he fled, according to a police report.

Police described the suspect as a white man who is about 6 feet tall and was last seen wearing a black hat with red lettering.

On Tuesday morning a South Avenue convenience store was robbed, a police report said.

Two men — one armed with a gun — went into Stop & Go, 740 South, and demanded cash. The suspects went into the store office to take cash from an unlocked safe. Suspect descriptions were unavailable.

Police ask that anyone with information about either armed robbery call the Crime Stopper program at 419-255-1111. Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward.
