Oregon woman hospitalized after 2-vehicle crash in E. Toledo

A Lucas County woman is in critical condition in Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center after a two-vehicle crash early Saturday morning in East Toledo at East Broadway Street and Woodville Road.

Annette J. Mullins, 54, of Oregon was extricated from her car and taken to St. Vincent by Life Squad, according to Toledo Police.

Javier D. Villegas, 22, of 1127 Girard St. was driving a sport utility vehicle west on Woodville at 2:45 a.m. when it struck Ms. Mullins’ station wagon broadside as she was northbound on East Broadway, police said.

Mr. Villegas fled on foot but was found by police officers and taken by ambulance to St. Vincent with minor injuries. He was not listed as a patient there Saturday night.
