Taking a vested interest in police dogs

Adriana Persiani, 9, pets Perrysburg Township’s police dog X during the Kevlar for K-9’s fund-raiser at the Black Belt Academy on East South Boundary in Perrysburg. Members of several local police departments gave demonstrations on Saturday. The goal was to outfit three police dogs in the Lake Township, Rossford, and Perrysburg Township departments with kevlar vests, but enough was raised to buy six or seven of them.
