Georgia murder suspect arrested in Maumee

A Toledo man wanted for a slaying in Georgia was arrested Wednesday at a Maumee motel, Toledo police said.

Brandon Morgan, 28, is charged with murder in DeKalb County, near Atlanta. He was found about 3 p.m. at the Budget Inn, 156 Dussel Drive, and arrested without incident, according to a police statement. He was booked into the Lucas County jail pending extradition to Georgia.

It was not immediately known how officials had tracked Mr. Morgan back to Toledo. Details about the slaying were not available.
