Armed robbery reported in Monroe Township mobile home park
4/6/2014MONROE -- An armed robbery occurred at 7:33 p.m. Saturday at the Willow Green Mobile Home Park located in Monroe Township.
The two male victims were riding in a car with the two male suspects, who the victims had just met, according to a release from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.
The two suspects, who were in a light-colored Ford sedan, stranded both victims in the mobile home park. One of the suspects struck both victims with a gun. Both victims were treated for their injuries at a local hospital. An investigation of the incident is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the Monroe County Sheriff's Office at 734-240-7530.
