Toledo man wanted for 2 armed robberies

Surveillance video showing the robbery of a South Toledo restaurant Thursday night led police to file charges against the same man in two armed robberies.

Wanted for two counts of aggravated robbery is Erik Starr, 27, of 516 Hackett Rd. He was not in custody as of 11 a.m. today.

Mr. Starr is wanted for the robbery of Subway, 1528 Broadway St.,which was reported to police at 10:05 p.m. Thursday.

According to an incident report, a man went into the restaurant and ordered food. While at the register, the man pulled out a gun and demanded all of the cash from the register. The man took an undetermined amount of cash and fled from the restaurant.

While watching surveillance video from Subway, police recognized the man as the same individual who robbed Dollar General, 3372 Monroe St., on April 29. In that instance, a man went into the store, showed the store clerk a gun, and demanded cash from the register. The suspect then fled with the money.

Mr. Starr is described in court documents as black, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Police ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts call Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111.
