South Toledo mini mart robbed Tuesday night

A South Toledo carryout was robbed by a masked armed man late Tuesday night.

Employees at Broadway Mini Mart, 1723 Broadway St., told police that a man went into the store at 11:25 p.m., pointed a handgun at the clerks, and demanded cash from the register.

The clerks opened the register, allowing the suspect to take an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then fled on foot.

A suspect description was not available.
