Columbia Gas crews have fixed a gas leak on a 4-inch main line on East Boundary Street in Perrysburg today, but the road remains closed until 5 p.m. for further repairs.

A Columbia Gas inspector found the leak along East Boundary Street in Perrysburg on Wednesday that caused a section of the road from Second Street south to the railroad tracks to be closed overnight.

Customers of Columbia Gas never lost service, they are still doing restoration to the line but the leak is fixed, said Chris Kozak, spokesman for Columbia Gas.

"The pipe was old, it was not a case where there was damage to it," said Chris Kozak, spokesman for Columbia Gas.
