Woman seriously hurt in crash in Fulton Co.

ARCHBOLD, Ohio — A crash that seriously injured a Fayette, Ohio, woman Wednesday on State Rt. 66 near Archbold remained under investigation, authorities said.

Ashtyn McCrae Baker, 19, who was driving a car, was listed in critical condition in Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, a hospital spokesman said.

Ms. McCrae Baker was driving north near milepost 9 in Fulton County’s Franklin Township about 1:15 a.m. Wednesday when for unknown reasons she drove off the right side of the road, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol’s post in Toledo. The car then struck an embankment and overturned.

It was unknown whether the victim, who was driving alone, wore a seat belt, according to the patrol.

Archbold, in Fulton County, is about 40 miles west of Toledo.
