Bond for a Maumee man accused of firing two shots at another man was set at $100,000.

Michael “Cookie” Warren, Jr., 23, of 1068 Valley Grove Dr. is charged with felonious assault. He was arraigned Friday in Toledo Municipal Court for the April 30 shooting.

Police allege that the suspect fired two shots from a handgun at Trayvon Stewart while the victim was standing on Beecham Street in South Toledo. The victim told police he does not know why he was shot at. Mr. Warren remained in the jail Friday night.

Police are still looking for Robert Sherman, 18, of 1738½ Milburn Ave., who allegedly shot Breon Stozier, 18, of Toledo.

Mr. Stozier was shot in his left shoulder at 3:52 p.m. at Elm and East Hudson streets in North Toledo in an apparent drive-by shooting. The victim’s mother, Venus Stozier, said the victim and suspect do not know one another. She said her son is “doing fine.”

Mr. Sherman is described by police as black, 5 feet, 4 inches tall, and weighs 130 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
