A Toledo woman who allegedly bit a Toledo police officer and spit on another remained in the Lucas County jail Monday.

Bond for Christina Scicere, 29, of 2572 Briar Ln. was set at $50,000 during an arraignment Monday in Toledo Municipal Court. For the alleged assaults on the officers, which happened in the booking area of the jail, she was charged with assault and harassment by an inmate.

Ms. Scicere was arrested at Granite and Wool Cut lanes at 12:30 a.m. Monday when officers were dispatched there for a “suspicious person” complaint. Officers report that Ms. Scicere matched the suspect description and attempted to stop her. She continued to walk away from the officers, but was eventually arrested. She was initially charged with obstructing official business, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct while intoxicated.

At the jail, the suspect allegedly bit Officer Daniel Revill through his uniform, breaking the skin, according to court records. She also allegedly spit on Officer Jeffrey Scott’s face.
