3 Archbold residents hurt in 2-car accident

ARCHBOLD — Three Archbold residents were injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday in Fulton County’s German Township, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol, which was continuing to investigate the crash.

Injured in the 3 p.m. crash were Waldo Aeschliman, 79, who was driving a 2007 Buick north on County Road 20, and Barbara Aeschliman, 79, a passenger in his vehicle.

Anthony Garza, 48, was driving a 2007 Hyundai Sonata west on County Road A when Mr. Aeschliman failed to stop at the intersection and was struck in the passenger side by Mr. Garza’s vehicle, troopers said.

The Aeschlimans were flown to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo. Their conditions were unavailable. Mr. Garza was treated at the scene.
