Editor‘s Note: This version corrects that the shooting occurred on Saturday morning.

A man was shot in his abdomen on Saturday morning while sitting in a car parked outside a North Toledo bar.

Rodney Saine, 42, of Toledo, was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center for treatment, police said. A hospital spokesman said early today no patient with that name was there.

Mr. Saine was sitting in the driver‘s seat of a van at 2:15 a.m. Saturday, at 3325 Stickney Ave., JT’s Yours and Ours, when someone fired several shots through the vehicle door. He was hit once in the abdomen and, police report, was “not very cooperative” with officers and paramedics. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Mr. Saine is the third person to be shot at Yours and Ours in about five weeks.

On April 27, two men -- Antonio Dunbar, 23, and Raymon Draper, 27 -- were shot while inside the bar. Mr. Dunbar was shot in his legs and Mr. Draper was grazed, police said. No arrests were made.

Police ask that anyone with information call Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111.
