Brittany Johns and her mother, Michelle Allen, bow their heads in prayer during a vigil Monday evening for Elaina Steinfurth at Federal and Leonard streets in East Toledo on the anniversary of the day of her disappearance. Eighteen-month-old Elaina was reported missing June 2, 2013, from her home on Federal; her decomposed remains were found Sept. 5. Her mother, Angela Steinfurth, and her then-boyfriend, Steven King II, are serving life sentences for her murder.
