An armed man threatened to kill a South Toledo carryout clerk on Tuesday night during a robbery, police report.
The hold up at Eastgate Carry Out, 1853 Eastgate Rd., near Glendale Avenue, is the most recent in a string in South Toledo. Police did not immediately say if the Tuesday night robbery was related to the others.

Tuesday, at 11:50 p.m., a man went into the store, walked to the back, and then rushed the front counter, according to a police report. There he pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded cash be put into a bag.
“Give me all your money,” the suspect reportedly yelled. “I‘ll shoot you. I’ll kill you.”
The suspect ran around the counter and again demanded cash, receiving about $350 from the register and a money bag with about $12,000 to $20,000 in cash and money orders, police said. the suspect then ordered the victim to the floor and fled in an unknown direction.
A description of the suspect was not available.
